리처드 L. 플로리다(Richard L. Florida, 1957년 출생)는 사회 및 경제 이론을 중심으로 연구하는 미국의 도시 연구 이론가이다. 그는 토론토 대학교 로트만 경영대학원의 교수이며, 동시에 뉴욕 대학교 전문대학원의 저명한 연구원으로 활동하고 있다.

Richard L. Florida is an American urban studies theorist and writer best known for his seminal description of the creative class. He focuses on economic and social theory as a distinguished professor at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and School of Cities. He was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University from 1987 to 2004 before teaching at George Mason University from 2004 to 2007 and subsequently moving to the University of Toronto.
