나대니얼 그린

너새니얼 그린(영어: Nathanael Greene, 1742년 8월 7일 ~ 1786년 6월 19일)은 미국 독립 전쟁에서 활약한 대륙군의 소장이다. 독립 전쟁이 시작되었을 때, 그린은 민병대의 병사였다. 그는 전쟁 중에 조지 워싱턴의 가장 재능 있고, 든든한 장교라는 평판을 받으며 두각을 드러냈다. 미국의 많은 곳이 그린의 이름을 따서 명명되었다. 그린은 전후 경제적인 어려움으로 고통을 받았으며, 1786년 갑작스런 일사병으로 사망했다.
