예르지 네이만

예지 네이만(폴란드어: Jerzy Neyman, 1894–1981)은 폴란드의 통계학자이다. 신뢰구간의 개념을 정의하였다.

Jerzy Spława-Neyman was a Polish mathematician and statistician who first introduced the modern concept of a confidence interval into statistical hypothesis testing and, with Egon Pearson, revised Ronald Fisher's null hypothesis testing. Neyman allocation, an optimal strategy for choosing sample sizes in stratified sampling, is named for him.
