홍 차우

홍 차우(Hong Chau, 1979년 6월 25일 ~ )는 미국의 배우이다. 《다운사이징》(2017)으로 2017년 제75회 골든 글로브상과 제24회 미국 배우 조합상의 여우조연상 후보에 지명됐으며, 《더 웨일》(2022)로 2023년 제95회 아카데미상, 제76회 영국 아카데미 영화상, 제29회 미국 배우 조합상의 여우조연상 후보에 동시에 올랐다.

Hong Chau is an American actress. She is most known for her performance in the 2022 film The Whale, for which she was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and other supporting-actress awards. Her breakthrough role was in the 2017 film Downsizing, for which she was nominated for several supporting-actress awards. Variety wrote in 2022 that Chau had "been prolific in recent years" and that she had "an acclaimed turn" in the TV series Watchmen (2019) and Homecoming (2018–2020).
