조지 즈와이그

조지 츠바이크(영어: George Zweig, ; 1937년 5월 30일~)는 러시아-유대계 미국인 물리학자이다. 리처드 파인만 밑에서 입자물리학자로 훈련을 받았다. 그는 머리 겔만과 독립적으로 쿼크 모형을 도입했다(비록 그는 그것을 "에이스"라고 명명했지만). 그는 나중에 신경생물학으로 관심을 돌렸다. 그는 로스앨러모스 국립연구소와 매사추세츠 공과대학교에서 연구 과학자로 일했으며, 금융 서비스 업계에서도 근무했다.

George Zweig is an American physicist of Russian-Jewish origin. He was trained as a particle physicist under Richard Feynman. He introduced, independently of Murray Gell-Mann, the quark model. He later turned his attention to neurobiology. He has worked as a research scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and in the financial services industry.
