댄 애리얼리(Dan Ariely, 1967년 4월 29일 ~ )는 이스라엘계 미국인 교수이자 작가이다. 듀크 대학교에서 심리학과 행동경제학의 제임스 B. 듀크 교수로 재직 중이다. 행동과학의 통찰력을 적용하는 여러 회사의 공동 설립자이다. 애리얼리는 2012년 6월부터 2022년 9월까지 월스트리트 저널에 "Ask Ariely"라는 조언 칼럼을 썼다. 뉴욕 타임스 베스트셀러인 세 권의 책 《상식 밖의 경제학》, 《상식 밖의 행동경제학》, 《거짓말하는 착한 사람들》의 저자이다. 2015년 다큐멘터리 《(Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies》를 공동 제작했다.
Dan Ariely is an Israeli-American author and professor of business administration at Duke University. He is the co-founder of several companies implementing insights from behavioral science. Ariely wrote an advice column called "Ask Ariely" in The Wall Street Journal from June 2012 until September 2022. He is the author of the three New York Times best-selling books Predictably Irrational, The Upside of Irrationality, and The Honest Truth about Dishonesty. He co-produced the 2015 documentary (Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies. Ariely's life, research, and book Predictably Irrational inspired the 2023 NBC television series The Irrational.
